Something else rotten happened last month but I didn't want to lump it into my little diatribe of what really amounts to just an unusual concentration of life's little foibles.
My good friend Michelle was diagnosed with cancer and is having to face the consequences of that. Sometimes, life just sucks.
Oh Darlene, you are such a treasure. I am so glad we are friends. I know I will survive this latest little setback to life's big adventure and then we will all rock out! In fact, I am already planning a party to celebrate my recovery from cancer and my 60th birthday (which will be next year, not even 59 yet!). Hopefully, I will be able to convince the New Riders to join that celebration and you of course will be at the top of the guest list as well as at the top of the list of REQUESTED performers.
